The Simplicity Slipover is worked from side to side in back and forth rows.
It is designed to have approx. 5 – 15 cm of negative ease, this means it will measure 5 – 14 cm less than your bust circumference.
The neckline is finished at the end with a crocheted ribbed edge.
I-Cord laces are applied to the sides of the vest.
In this pattern you will find written instructions and many video tutorials attached that will help you in the most important steps.
You will also find instructions on how to change the length as you like.
Sizes
XS, (S), M, (L), XL, (XXL), to fit a bust circumference of: 80 – 85; (85 – 90); 90 – 95; (95 – 100); 100 – 110; (110 – 120) cm; 30 ½ - 33 ½; (33½ - 35½); 35½ - 37½; (37½ - 39½); 39½ - 43¼; (43¼ - 47¼) inches
Finished measurements (after wet blocking)
Circumference: 75, (78), 84, (87), 93, (99) cm.
Length (excluding the ribbing neck): 51 cm
Neck ribbing: 8 cm
Gauge
10 x 10 cm = 15 sts x 13 rows with 5 mm hook (wet blocked).
Hooks and tools
5 mm for the main pattern, or size needed to meet gauge; 4.5; 5.5; 6 mm for the foundation chain and all edges.
You will also need scissors, some removable stitch markers, a measuring tape and a tapestry needle.
Recommended yarn
Peo 30 Merino Wool from Silke, 1 ball = 50 gr/100 m. A worsted weight yarn is recommended.
Quantity: 270, (300), 320, (400), 450, (500) grams.
The amount of yarn is an estimate and will vary if you choose a different length than the one indicated.
