Aria is a soft cozy cardigan made with a beautiful and simple crochet stitch. It has a slightly oversized fit and a dropped shoulder construction, details that give an excellent fit to all body types. Aria Cardigan is worked bottom up in one piece in back-and-forth rows. The sleeves are crocheted directly onto the body and likewise worked in back-and-forth rows with turning. Ribbing is worked in the front edge.
Use a worsted weight yarn and you will get a structured look sweater that will be perfect for cold winter days. If you want a cardigan that is perfect for spring, you can use any cotton or blend-cotton yarn.

Gauge
10 x 10 cm = 14 sts x 8 R with 4.5 mm hook wet blocked in stitch pattern.
Hooks
3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 mm.
You will also need scissors, some removable stitch markers, a measuring tape a tapestry needle, 3 or 4 buttons with 20 mm of diameter.
Yarn
For the long-sleeved version you will need:
Option 1: 550, (600), 650, (700), 800, (800) grams of Cable 4 cotton from Silke (100 g/200 m)
Option 2: 550, (600), 650, (700), 800, (800) grams of merino wool Peo 30 from Silke (50 g/100 m)
For the 3/4 sleeve version you will need 450, (500), 550, (600), 700, (700) grams of worsted weight yarn.
The white cardigan is worked in Cable 4 cotton from Silke.
The striped cardigan is worked in Peo 30 merino from Silke.
